The very own King of Indian Cricket is back with a bang. He is Sachin Tendulkar, and the name is enough to shiver any of the opponents. After a long time we could see the Sachin Sixers and the lift shots.
I guess this is after a long gap that Sachin has played such an inning. All the strokes in the book were exhibited by him and he tore apart West Indies attack all round the park.
Good for Indian Cricket and there preparation for the World Cup. If Sachin is in such a form then there is no one who can stop India from the prestigious trophy.
Lets see how long this form stretches, Lets keep our finger crossed and wait for the best.
9-11 the day when the World Trade center was hit by two hijacked planes, was again marked by a very special occasion: Martina Navratilova's Retirement. 5 years back I was disappointed by the death of many innocent people during the WTC attack. 5 years have passed and the emotions are the same. This time around the end of an era of outstanding courage and hardworking Tennis.
I have always admired Martina Navratilova, from the day I have first watched her when I was in School days. The only thing that I admired about her was that she never gave up. At 6-4,5-0 down I have seen her winning the same match with 6-4,5-7,6-3 points. How can a person win from such a unmotivating situation..? Only Martina knows how...
31 years have passed in her career and she is just played her last international match. What a match it was... Bob Bryan was her partner in endeavouring yet another grandslam to their name. While speaking after the match, she said "Its over but not..." four words that said it all...
Next day she was honoured for her contributions to Lawn Tennis. She said that she loved playing with Leander Paes because of his love towards the game. Love hmmm... How much does she loves tennis... Not a measurable unit... I will miss your game...
